It’s official — I’m starting a new blog!
Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean that Life In Vet School & Tips On Getting In will be forgotten about! It has served as too precious of a resource for thousands of pre-veterinary students throughout the world for me to even consider ending it.
However, now that I am beyond my application and veterinary school process, I felt the need to embrace my new role as an animal shelter veterinarian by creating a blog that allowed people to join me on that ride, in order to see what my life is like and all the thousands of animals that I am entrusted to care for each and every year.
Since the role of a shelter veterinarian is quite obscure — not many people know what we really do — I am going to open the door to my life and tell the many “Tails of a Shelter Vet” that there are to tell.
