The 12th Annual Pre-Health Conference at UC Davis is coming up! This conference is a venue where undergraduate students interested in careers in health-related fields can learn about different health fields and specialties as well as what the admissions process is like for these schools. It’s a lot of very useful information crammed into two days!
This year it’s particularly special. Unlike previous years, 2014 is the first year that the conference will be incorporating veterinary medicine into the schedule!
You may be as surprised as I was to learn that, despite being at UC Davis, where one of the most renowned veterinary schools in the world is located, the conference has never before provided information and assistance to people interested in pursuing the veterinary field.
This year is different. Veterinary medicine is on the schedule!
I know all of this because I received a phone call at work this week inviting me to be a speaker at the conference! I haven’t confirmed yet, but expect me to be there!
Dates: October 11-12, 2014
I highly recommend that you make it out to UC Davis for this conference. It is going to be well attended with over 8,500 visitors expected. In case you can’t make it to UC Davis, be sure to keep it on your radar and tune in to the conference as you’ll be able to watch online!
